I have a quilt that I'm making for Elizabeth that I started over a year ago and I still have a long way to go. It would be nice to actually make some progress on it.

And, isn't it soooo much harder when they are gone over the weekend? I was so glad when we made it through mass without any meltdowns.

Thank you, Lillian and Jill, for your encouraging words and support!Colleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14318595988087482161noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27670398228389322.post-45928373618607792522007-09-09T21:25:00.000-05:002007-09-09T21:25:00.000-05:00Colleen, I'll keo you in my prayers!! The hardest part is over for me.

Now is a good time to tackle a big project. Keep you mind busy. Don't clean up the house. Work on your project (sewing, organizing a closet, etc.) Keep meals simple and use paper plates!!! You shouldn't have to wash dishes while he's gone!

And then the day of his arrival clean up the house (after all that neglect) and make a wonderful supper in honor of his arrival.

That's how I survive!! Email me if you want to chat!Lillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04786208385769454607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27670398228389322.post-17457422050115167822007-09-09T15:31:00.000-05:002007-09-09T15:31:00.000-05:00My husband takes several long trips every year for...My husband takes several long trips every year for work. So, I'm feeling for you right now! At least you can look back at the end of the time and pat yourself on the back for pulling it all off by yourself. (Well, that's what I do anyway!) Hopefully you can squeeze in some relaxation too. Easier said that done, of course!Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09168808776950608457noreply@blogger.com
