Recommendations?

Can any of you homeschoolers recommend a good pre-K workbook? Elizabeth found some old ones of Jonathan's and she is very excited about tracing letters, matching pictures, etc. even though most of the pages are done already. I got the ones I have from the bookstore because it was the most convenient, but this time I'd like to find some better resources.

So, any recommendations?

Colleen,
I have always used these little workbooks to get ready for math. The flashcards are nice because they liked to be drilled.

How old is she?? Really, the best thing you could do would be to read and read and read to her. Also, Explode the Code has nice little workbooks called Get Ready for the Code, Get Set the Code, & Go for the Code. that introduce th letter names, sounds, and phonemic awareness. Again, its pretty gentle. And they have nice flashcards as well that my little ones just love.

I'm sorry I don't know how to link in comments. HTH.

oops, in case the links don't work, I'm referring to the Golden Step Ahead Math Workbooks. They have stickers the kids get to put in lots of places throughout the workbook. They are available at Emmanuel Books.

And the Get Ready for the Code books are from EPSbooks (http://www.epsbooks.com/)

Hey! I see you've been having quite a month with all of the illnesses. That was the story of our past few weeks as well (ok, and that we just moved to Europe!). Hope everyone is on the mend and you have a healthy Lent!

The workbooks I'm using w/ MC right now are:

Singapore Math (E might be ready for the Earlybird sets)
MCP phonics
and Handwriting Without Tears

She loves all of them! Something about girls and workbooks :)
