Elizabeth spilled her glass of juice today. So, I threw her a towel so she could clean it up. She began only halfheartedly, distracted by something her brother was doing. Then all of a sudden her eyes lit up, she got down on her hands and knees and started really scrubbing.
"Mommy!" she called. "I'm doing it just like Cinderella!"
Hmmmm . . . Do you think her mother could use this new motivation to get her to pick up her toys as well? We might be on to something here.

too funny:)
Cute!
Also, I kept meaning to comment on your little boy and his sleeping. Still in the same boat here. Since he rendered me pretty sleepless even in the womb, I think I'm going on about 18 months of interupted sleep. But, somehow I'm used to it. THe other I was feeling really chipper because Henry had slept a shocking stretch of four hours! Usually three is his limit. ;)
Wish we would have gotten a King bed like Lillian mentioned. He was with us 'full-time' for the first six months, and even though he was tiny it was a squeeze for all of us. Now he just joins us after his 3rd or 4th wake-up and sleeps a final hour or two. It's fun to wake up to that little face.
Anyway, from one tired mom to another....cheers! :)
Jill,
I've been wondering if you were still nursing Henry on the cold floor at night. Isn't it great when you can get 3-4 hours in at once. I'm kind of used to it, too. But, about once a week the fatigue catches up with me and I get frustrated I think because I'm just physically and mentally exhausted.
