"I loved everything about it, Mommy."

Jonathan's first day of school was awesome. My shy little boy suddenly wasn't shy anymore. He hung up his backpack, shelved his lunchbox, and found his desk like an old pro. I can't express how incredible it was to watch him today. He was so full of wonder and awe, joy and excitement. His smile was so contagious, it stifled the tears that briefly threatened to trickle down my cheeks. We are so, so blessed that he is able to attend this school and that he has such an amazing teacher. I actually met Mrs. Jones about three years ago. We both were animators for our respective FAMILIA groups (an apostolate of Regnum Christi) and so I know what an incredible woman of faith she is. God is so good! Thank you, Lord, for this day. I will forever treasure all these moments and "ponder them in my heart".
